• Natural or Synthetic: Choose from natural diamonds or laboratory-grown stones
• Pricing: Calculated by actual cast weight after production — you pay for the gold on the scale, not what is lost in finishing.

Custom Order Process

1. Inspire Us — Submit an image or reference of your desired piece. Share your vision for scale, style, and sacred detail — our artisans will honor it with precision and intention.
2. Design Confirmation — Our team develops a detailed proposal based on your specifications. You review and approve all details — metal, stones, dimensions, and estimated price — before a single gram of gold is touched.
3. Deposit — A deposit is collected to begin production of your bespoke commission.
4. Casting — Your piece is cast in solid gold. The exact weight is confirmed, documented, and shared with you at this stage.
5. Final Price — Your final price is calculated based on actual cast weight. You are charged at this point — before polishing and finishing.
6. Finishing — Your piece is hand-polished to a mirror shine. Note: finishing removes up to 0.5–1g from cast weight. You are not charged for this loss.
7. Delivery — Your completed commission is packaged and delivered — ready to be worn as a testament to your faith.

Like buying fresh fish — you pay for what’s on the scale, not what’s lost in the fillet.

A Note on Gemstones

Alexander X Designs works with a curated selection of both natural and laboratory-grown stones. Here is what every client should know before selecting their stones:

• Natural Diamonds — Formed over billions of years beneath the earth. Each stone is unique in character, inclusions, and color. Color matching across multiple natural diamonds requires additional sourcing time. Graded by Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat (the 4Cs).
• Laboratory-Grown Diamonds (Synthetics) — Chemically and optically identical to natural diamonds. Offer greater consistency in color and clarity — ideal for multi-stone settings requiring a uniform look.
• Colored Gemstones — We source Rubies, Emeralds, and Sapphires in both natural and lab-grown varieties. Color consistency across natural stones cannot be guaranteed and may vary from stone to stone.
• Inclusions — All natural stones contain inclusions to varying degrees. Our team will advise you on clarity grades to meet your aesthetic and budget.
• Advisory — If color uniformity is a priority, laboratory-grown stones are strongly recommended. Natural stones are irreplaceable in character but require flexibility in color matching.
